Degreasing Coating Raw Parts Cleaning & Phosphating Drying
Degreasing
Pre-treatment operations are used to remove oils and light rust prior to coating.
Coating Raw Parts
The dry bulk zinc aluminium powders are combined with parts and heated at prescribed times and temperature in the retort chamber.
Cleaning & Phosphating
Parts are rinsed to remove coating dust after the heating cycle and passivated with a zinc phosphate solution.
Drying
All parts are dried and packed for shipment.

SIGNIFICANTLY OUTPERFORMS & OUTLASTS OTHER TECHNOLOGIES.

GREENKOTE® technology is a proprietary thermo-diffusion coatings process that modifies and improves the basic surface characteristics of metals. It is applicable to many types of metals, alloys, sintered metals, cermets and powders used in various applications in the automotive, construction, military weapons, aerospace and other major industries.

In terms of cost and performance, as well as impact on the environment, our thermo-diffusion technology performs better than other technologies used in the coatings industry. Better than electroplating. Better than conventional powder coating. Better than dip spin coating.

Low cost, high performance.

GREENKOTE technology offers superior, longer lasting performance results when compared to most traditional processes. It typically consumes 50% less energy and is 50% faster than traditional methods. Our processes use lower volumes of powder as well.

Thermo-diffusion coatings offer a high level of corrosion protection by forming a protective layer that partially diffuses into the substrate in combination with a sacrificial coating on the surface. This process is key in healing any micro fissures, cracks, or porosity on the surface of the substrate where corrosion typically forms. In addition, the flexibility to use this process for a wide range of coatings from the same equipment means a direct cost savings to our customers.

GREENKOTE is greener.

The use of our thermal, dry powder process minimizes the environmental impact as it eliminates the use of hazardous heavy metals and other materials like acids and organic solvents. This green technology is an excellent choice in meeting the demanding industry specifications in North America and Europe and are in full compliance with RoHS and the EU End of Life Vehicles (ELV) Directive (2000/53/EC).

How the process works.

GREENKOTE® processes are available at our plants in the U.S., Germany and Israel. Here is a basic description of our process technology:
